Welcome to the Huntsman Cancer Institute's Gastrointestinal Cancer Patient Forum.


We hope that this site will provide an opportunity for patients and families with cancers of the GI tract to share information and support each other. We do not expect that this site will replace existing forms of education through clinic visits with our health care team and support from the specialists in our Learning Center on the 1st floor of the HCI research building. As more and more individuals have become familiar with electronic forms of communication, however, we believe that this site may prove useful as a different way for patients and their families to learn from each other. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

The Huntsman Cancer Institute’s Gastrointestinal Cancer Program diagnoses and treats all cancers of the digestive system, including cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, small bowel, colon, appendix, and rectum.
