My father was dignosed with colorectal cancer approx. 1 1/2 years ago, since then he has been declared cancer free and is now back on chemo due to the cancer spreading to his liver, stage 4.
It seems as though he is getting the correct chemo therapy drugs, however the dr. does not address anything else that is really affecting his quality of life. Most of the time, he does not even see his Dr., he sees a P.A. who does not seem to really know what she is doing, or if she does, does not convey it to the patient.
So, I am looking for a Dr. who specializes in this type of Cancer and can give us an honest opinion, and maybe help with things such as diet etc. We want a dr. that we have been referred to, with a good reputation, not just someone out of the insurance booklet. I have heard great things about Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Doctors there and would like to go there if possible. How can I find the help my father needs?
