Hi my name is Valerie. My husband Rand was diagnosed March of 07 with cholangiocarcinoma. Rand has been receiving chemo for one year this month. Several weeks ago he had a CT scan done. Last week we went to the doctor to get the results and he said they were not read because the CT scan he had done previously to this last one was done at a different hospital and the doctors at each hospital don't like each other so they didn't get read. So he tells us he will twist arms to get it read by today. We go today and nothing, no one has looked at or compared his scans.

The reason for this post is to find out what I need to get from my husbands doctor to have a second opinion done at the Huntsman Institute.

I would appreciate any help or a number I could call to talk to someone that could tell me what I need to get.

Thank you

Hi Valerie,

Here is the number you need to call at The Huntsman Cancer Institute-801-587-4422.  Shelley Stoker will be able to help you out, and guide you through the process.  Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you out with.

Thanks,

Dustin Hawkins, MBA
